You can hire our one of our balloons for your exclusive use. Just the balloon pilot and you with your invited guest/guests. Ideal for that very special event such as a proposal of marriage, an intimate wedding or a get together with family or friends for a gathering with a difference.
We have balloons that can take 5, 10 or 16 people. The 5 person balloon is ideal for just 2, or maybe 4 friends / family members.
Because you have hired the balloon exclusively we can customise the event especially for you. It may be possible to take off or land at a specific location or to fly over a particular area. We are happy to discuss your specific needs and provide a quotation for your special event.
A welcoming tea, coffee and biscuits are provided at the balloon launch site and you can assist the balloon crew prepare the balloon for flight. Once aboard the wicker basket, your magical flight begins for 1 hour floating with the breezes 1,500 – 2,000 feet above the Gold Coast. The launch is so gentle you will not even realise you have left the ground. The peace and gentleness of ballooning will surprise you and the views are outstanding. This is the most amazing way to see the marvellous Gold Coast area.
Our special remote control "flying" camera, suspended from the balloon envelope, will take pictures before, during and after the flight, which will be supplied to you on CD, included in the price. The pictures (10 – 15) will be downloaded onto our laptop computer, for viewing during breakfast.
After the flight and balloon pack-up we enjoy a bottle of cool water and then it's off to breakfast. The location can be selected based on where we fly or it can be held at Palm Meadows Golf Resort Lakeview Restaurant. At Palm Meadows we sit outside under the umbrellas overlooking the lake and the golf course - it's a lovely setting and the perfect place to sit back and savour your balloon flight experience. During breakfast with the pilots and balloon crew we'll show you our photograph albums of ballooning from around the world. We also have a short ceremony when we explain the history of hot air ballooning and why it is we have champagne after each balloon flight, followed by the blessing of all the new “balloonatics” and presentation of your personalised flight certificates.
Approximately 4 hours after the start you'll be on your way home with some wonderful memories of a very special morning.
